1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account info: name, email, password, profile photo, video intro
  • Profile info: age, pronouns, specialty, agency, shift preference, living preferences, languages
  • Contract info: city, dates, facility, housing status
  • Verification info: NPI number (checked against federal registry), government ID (processed by Stripe Identity — we do not store your ID document), contract documents
  • Messages: content of messages between matched users
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, affiliate link clicks

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Match you with nurses in the same city with overlapping contracts
  • Verify your identity and nursing license for community safety
  • Display your profile to potential matches
  • Send notifications about matches, messages, and network activity
  • Provide housing search links and city guide recommendations
  • Improve the App and develop new features
  • Track affiliate link clicks for revenue purposes (anonymized)

3. What We Share

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

  • Other users: your profile, contract cities, and messages with your matches
  • Stripe: for identity verification processing (they have their own privacy policy)
  • Supabase: our database and authentication provider
  • Law enforcement: if required by law or to protect safety

4. Data From Public Sources

When you provide your NPI number, we look it up in the public NPI Registry (maintained by CMS, a federal agency). This registry is publicly accessible. We use it solely to verify your nursing license and credential.

5. Data Retention

Your profile and contract data are retained while your account is active. Message history is retained for safety and dispute resolution purposes, even after unmatching. Verification data (NPI verification status, ID verification status) is retained indefinitely. You may request account deletion at any time.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication via Supabase. ID verification is handled by Stripe Identity — we never store your government ID documents.

7. Your Rights

You can:

  • Access and update your personal information in your profile
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Opt out of push notifications
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Block other users from seeing your profile

8. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. We will notify you of material changes through the App.
